Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch
Motorola’s Moto 360 smartwatch proves that Android wearables can be as fashionable as functional, making it the first Google-powered watch worth owning. Its circular shape is inspired from designer watches with analog tickers, unlike square-shaped digital smart watches. The very cybernetic Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch are no match for what Motorola has up its sleeve.
Moto 360 is a stainless steel smart watch, amplifying its computerized screen which has a 1.56 inch backlit LCD and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Its circular display has a 320 x 290 resolution with 205 pixels, and its interchangeable wrist band is made of Horween leather. The watch isn’t waterproof, though, but it is made water resistant.
Moto 360 is powered by Texas Instruments OMAP 3 chip, and runs on Google’s Android Wear software. The smart watch has a power-saving dimmed display, that tells the time like a regular watch, and its battery lasts for a full day per charge. The watch charges wirelessly through a magnetic Qi induction, which is unique to the Motorola brand. It also has an optical heart rate sensor for a good workout. Keeping aside all these features it can tell you the weather, get directions from Google Maps, count your steps, and give you your important notifications. It also has the voice recognition technology.

Display
Moto 360 has been all about is designer circular display from day one, it’s no fancy OLED screen rather is a better deal for the given price, and moreover the backlit LCD technology is also substantial. The resolution of the display is roughly the same as the smaller Gear Live but with fewer pixels. The difference is noticeable in comparison, but for once it’s not about what’s inside the watch but about the outer design.

Design
The Moto 360 watch frame is stainless steel, and matching that standard is genuine leather straps by the Chicago-based tanner Horween, known for making NFL footballs. It really counterpoints the flashy plastic and the rubber straps found on the Gear Live and G Watch. The first colors being introduced are gray and black. You’ll also be able to upgrade to the metal bands when Motorola launches those, for a slightly higher price, but at a later date. The Moto 360 weighs 49g (1.7 oz) with all those exquisite materials which is actually lighter than other smart watches available in the market.
Description
Moto 360 has one physical button which turns the display on and off plus there’s an alternative method of doing the same which is by tapping the screen to turn it on and palming the entire display to quickly turn it off. Battery life and wireless charger
The Moto 360 battery life can stay up to a day, per charge thanks to a 320mAh battery. It comes with a Qi charging dock that is perfect for resting on a nightstand though it doesn’t have the more practical micro USB port that the freshly announced Sony Smartwatch 3 is going to have, but the Moto 360 charging method is much more futuristic. The battery is indeed bigger and stronger than the Samsung Gear Live’s battery of 300mAh, but it’s smaller than the LG G Watch 400mAh battery

Early Verdict
Even after our 12 hours time with the final Moto 360 smart watch we haven’t taken it off yet. The battery is unwavering even after using multiple apps and, more importantly, we fancy the circular design. The cut-off at the bottom of the smart watch that houses the screen tech pushes the pixels out to the edges of the screen with a nice effect that’s why it doesn’t bother us much. If you’ve been holding out on Google new smartwatches, Moto 360 has finally started ticking and the Apple iWatch has some serious competition.
